The Grand Haven Musical Fountain is a community project, and AC4 is how you can become part of it. Maybe you've never choreographed anything in your life. That's perfectly okay. We built AC4 so beginners can create real shows with ease, learning the fundamentals along the way.
Here's how AC4's new choreography tools will help you get there.
Not sure where to start? Start with blocks.
Lots of creative people have a song they love and a picture in their head, but no idea how to begin choreographing it. We made SplashPad for you. Snap a few blocks together and it creates the choreography for you. You build your song 30 seconds at a time, so there's nothing to be intimidated by. You'll learn as you go, and then keep growing, one song at a time.
Then take it further and make it yours.
Once you have the basics of your choreography, you can fine-tune it in the editor and customize it even more. Take what SplashPad made and make it better.
Stuck? Let your music give you ideas.
Tell Ideas which water and lights you'd like for each part of your song, and it comes back with variations to try. Listen, watch, and keep the one that feels like you.
Never wonder when to make a change.
Knowing when to change the water and lights is one of the trickiest parts of choreography. Conductor listens to your music and drops suggestions right into your show, perfectly timed to the beat. All you have to do is tell it what you'd like at each spot.
A friendly coach in your corner.
When you're ready to share your song, Coach looks it over and gently points out things that are easy to miss, like lights or water you forgot to turn off. It tells you what it found and why, so you learn something every time. It's your art, so every suggestion is yours to take or leave.
